By the end of summer in 2013, our founder CocoVinny had sampled almost every bottled and canned coconut water on the market and had come to the conclusion that he hated coconut water. By pure luck and divine intervention, a business associate from Indonesia shared a fresh young coconut with him. Reluctant at first, CocoVinny decided to give this coconut one last chance. The difference in taste from the canned and bottled coconut water would come to change his life forever. Every day for the next three weeks, CocoVinny would crack open his own coconut after the gym with a knife and hammer. One day, he broke his stepdad Bill's knife trying to get into a coconut. Bill was not pleased at all. CocoVinny decided to shop for a coconut tool online and in retail stores. What he discovered was a small selection of cheaply made foreign products. Nothing had the coco coolness and "Made in USA" quality to tap his thirst.

The Coco Creativity Was Born:

After buying his step dad Bill a whole new knife set, he decided there had to be a better way. He spent the next two years involved in intense research and development perfecting his newly found Coco innovative mind and Coco craftiness. CocoVinny designed, patented, and manufactured The CocoTaps Tool Kit. It’s now the only 100 percent Made in USA, BPA Free, and dishwasher-safe coconut water system. You won’t find a more delicious coconut water online or in stores!

Cutting The Carbon Footprint With CocoLove?

Since CocoTaps are reusable and make the young coconut resealable for up to four weeks in the refrigerator, CocoVinny decided to create the fresh-tapped coconut water beverage line. CocoTaps cuts the carbon footprint of traditional pasteurized and packaged coconut water by eliminating wasteful processing of cartons, cans, and plastic bottles that can end up in our ocean and landfills. We have so much CocoLove to share with the world. So many people have never had the opportunity to tap their thirst from a freshly tapped coconut, let alone enjoy the advantages of coconut water! CocoTaps Partners with beyond GREEN for 100% compostable and biodogradable Coconut Taps

  

Fresh-tapped coconut supplier Coco Taps has announced partnership with beyond GREEN to launch their new taps, made from corn-based maize. The taps are completely zero waste, biodegradable and ocean-safe; available in fresh-tapped Coco Taps coconuts later this year.

“Making Coco Taps ocean-safe and biodegradable has been a priority, and especially now as we are actively in discussion with a number of major cruise lines and theme parks,” said owner Coco Vinny. “Veejay Patell and his team at beyond Green are able to make our vision a reality and we could not be more excited for this partnership.”

Coco Taps provides 100 percent pure coconut water straight from the coconut source in its original natural packaging. A zero waste beverage company, Coco Taps has a patented invention and system that eliminates the need for processing and excess packaging. Coco Taps are available at over 20 resorts, 60 restaurants, and 40 convenience stores in Las Vegas, Nevada, California and Arizona.
